WWII German Puma Fighting Knife – D1013

These Puma produced fighting knives are always a hit with the edged weapon collecting community. This one is manufactured in the typical manner, featuring 3 rivets securing the trimmed and fit 2 piece grip halves. The handle remains tight and secure to the spine of this hilt, showing just light surface wear. Though the scabbard displays wear to mainly the obverse, the remaining black enamel is factory period done. Additionally, the shell is still affixed with the S shaped pressure spring clip on the reverse which functions fine. Finally, the blade remains straight, as well as tight to the spine / tang. Though there is a little bit of play with the zinc crossguard. Puma used several trademarks on these era knives. This one simply stamped with their name and that of Solingen.  SOLD
