Large SS Trooper Photo – P155

These large format period SS photos are incredibly difficult to find, even at the largest militaria shows and venues. This example is 7″ x 9 1/2″ and certainly suitable for framing. It depicts the youthful face SS man, in his SS tunic  and wearing a double button M43 cap. His color tabs, buttons, shoulder boards, and cap insignia are shown with decent clarity in the photo. All of his facial features are extremely sharp, especially for a photo so long ago take back in the day. There is some light wear and age to the very edges and the surface, but this studio portrait is void of any tears, creases, or rips. On the reverse is penciled a name.
