Early SS Armband – C225
These early SS brassards are quite desirable, and not all that easy to come by in regards to collectible condition. While not totally perfect, the dark red wool body is in decent shape, showing just a couple of wear holes. Typical for these armbands, the construction is a 5 piece combination that consists of the base fabric, fold and sewn black ribbed swastika, the 2 borders of the same material, and lastly the white ribbed center disc. The swastika is uniformly centered on the disc, with all arms showing excellent spacing symmetry. On the reverse is the black cloth RZM tag showing that this brassard was manufactured in 1937. Those cloth tags the reason for the desirability of these early Allgemeine armbands. SOLD
