4 year SS Long Service Award – M481

Surprisingly, to locate a nice 4yr SS long service medal is actually harder than finding it’s 8yr counterpart. The reason is because the matte chemically blackened surface on the former is susceptible to wear and chipping, as opposed to the die stamped bronze alloy of the 8yr. As shown in the photos, this is an extremely nice example in this offering, with nearly 100% of that finish intact. For display purposes, it appears that a similar faithful service ribbon and pin have been added which occasionally we see. It matches nicely.  SOLD
