Where quite plentiful in the past, finding a 2^nd model of the caliber in this listing is a challenge in today’s market. This example has a fine-looking orange / yellow Trolon grip which is devoid of any crack, splits, or damage. The typical springy decorative wire Eickhorn was known to utilize is all tightly snug into place, and set firmly in the handle grooves. Though there is a little misshaping to the wire on the obverse bottom rung, it still remains structurally sound. An excellent pommel displaying 60% period gilt is tight and perfectly aligned, while holds this entire hilt super tight. 

The scabbard is an absolute killer! Perfectly straight and void of any bumps, bends or creases, it’s truly as nice as they come. That even includes the gorgeous factory airplane grey finish over its surface.
