1934 Shooting Prize Sash – G275

This silk sash was given as an honor award for the best marksman during the Deanery shooting competition that was held in the town of Birgden in 1934. These were church congregations from various communities comprised of numerous shooting clubs that competed against each other. With the best area marksmen laying claim to bragging rights.  Birgden is a town in the North Rhine Westphalia and noted for being an important manufacturing center during the 3rd Reich era. The sash is 29″ in length, 7.5″ in width, and manufactured in silk. A neat accoutrement to display with a hunting Hirschfanger or other 3rd Reich collectibles. $495.00
