WWI EK II - M366

This is a neat little World War I Iron Cross 2nd Class, and it's display case. The medal is in very good condition, to include the silver frame and blackened core. The only marks I could find on the ribbon ring are the letters, Fr. This award is housed in a glass covered custom case, made of steel which is held closed by 4 pins which pass through the sides. The light gray fabric has been recessed to hold the cross, with a stud pin to keep it in place. You can see it's been in there a very long time, by the impression and darkening left by the award. This item appears to be something which the German veteran of the Great War did in remembrance of time served, and his combat award which he was awarded. It's a cool display, and an exceptionally nice EK. $195.00
