Luftwaffe Artillery Major's Overcoat - C136
Talk about a pristine 3rd Reich overcoat! This great coat is about as perfect as you are going to see. Produce in blue - grey wool that weights a ton, the fabric is like new. Not a rip, tear, moth track, repair, nor detraction, can be found anywhere on this garment. The double breasted obverse can be seen with all 12 of it's original large pebbled button, 6 to a side. The French cuffs of both sleeves, are neatly folded and sewn to the seam running up each arm. Likewise, 2 tailored front slant pockets, finish off the obverse of this coat beautifully. Perfectly centered on each shoulder, are the artillery major rank boards, adorned with silver bullion braid, and backed with red backing. Each shoulder board is sewn at the sleeve seams, and held down by a single silver pebbled button. Like the rest of this great coat, the boards and construction of them, is absolutely fantastic. Inspecting the interior, it is exactly in the same condition as you see with this entire coat. The perfect black satin lining is all in place, to include every last stitch holding it. There is one inside left pocket in this lining, a single button hold down below it, and an adjustable dagger hanger with metal D ring. At the top, you can see the manufactures label, firmly sewn in place. Trying the coat on, I would guess it to be roughly a 44-46 size. I seriously doubt that this great coat was ever worn that much, as it's absolutely like new.
As nice as they come, Luftwaffe Officer's Overcoat. $500.00
