Early Personalized SS Belt Rig - B135

Offering a very nice SS EM / NCO belt and buckle set. The leather belt while not marked, is about 110 mm in size. It still retains a vivid black period dye to the exterior, rating a solid 90%. The adjuster tongue is properly factory sewn, as is the flap which holds the keeper. A soldier's name "Wagner Arndt" is penned on the inside grain. Accompanying this belt is the buckle which it came with. It is an early Overhoff solid nickel example which has had the company name ground off. This was done when the company sold their wares to a competing retailer, for resale. The buckle was then re-stamped with Ludenscheid Ges. Gesch. These so called Overhoff grinds are very desirable, and sought after by collectors for this manufacturing variation. Adding to the desirability of this buckle, is the fact that it remains totally uncleaned with 70 + years of beautiful patina on it. A beautiful personalized SS belt and buckle rig.  $750.00
